Sourcing Coordinator

We are seeking a structured and proactive Sourcing Coordinator - Textiles & Garments to oversee our apparel manufacturing pipeline. You will be responsible for managing factory communication, tracking fabric and trim development, maintaining critical path calendars, and monitoring production milestones. Your focus is to ensure garment quality matches tech pack specifications while meeting target costs and delivery windows.
Key Responsibilities
Fabric & Trim Development
Source fabrications, hardware, and labels based on Design team tech packs.
Request, log, and track lab dips, strike-offs, and fabric handloom submissions.
Coordinate material testing to ensure fabric meets performance and safety metrics.
Sample & Production Tracking
Maintain the Time & Action calendar to avoid delivery delays.
Track garment sample stages including Proto, Fit, Size-Set, and Pre-Production.
Coordinate sample feedback from Technical Designers and convey corrections to factories.
Monitor daily factory work-in-progress logs for cutting, sewing, and packing.
PO & Vendor Management
Issue, track, and update purchase orders.
Audit vendor cost sheets, freight terms, and duty metrics to safeguard margins.
Onboard new factories, checking for ethical compliance and third-party certifications.
Logistics & Delivery Coordination
Compile final packing lists, commercial invoices, and customs documentation.
Partner with logistics teams to coordinate freight bookings and port drop-offs.
Troubleshoot fabric shortages, QA failures, or shipping bottlenecks.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Degree or diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, Textile Science, or Business.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in apparel sourcing, garment production, or buying.
Textile Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabric constructions, fiber types, garment washes, and print techniques.
