We are seeking a highly analytical and certified CPA to serve as our Sourcing & General Accountant. In this dual-focus role, you will take full ownership of our general ledger, month-end close, and corporate financial reporting, while actively managing the complex financial tracking of our global apparel sourcing network, international logistics, and third-party vendor costs.
Key Responsibilities
Global Sourcing & Supply Chain Accounting
Analyze Vendor Pricing: Evaluate international supplier cost sheets.
Manage Trade Finance: Oversee international payment instruments, including Letters of Credit (L/C), wire transfers, and foreign currency exchange.
Audit Logistics & Tariffs: Reconcile freight forwarder invoices, customs broker fees, and country-specific garment import duties.
Track Sourcing Variances: Monitor and reconcile differences between initial pre-production quotes and final supplier invoices.
General Accounting & Financial Management
Month-End Close: Own the entire closing process, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet audits.
Financial Statements: Generate accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports.
Ensure Tax Compliance: Oversee domestic and international tax filings and corporate compliance.
Coordinate External Audits: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, preparing all required schedules and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in apparel sourcing, global trading, or garment manufacturing.
